Cancer prevention and control are paramount, and our current emphasis on population and behavioral research informs our awareness initiatives and programs. Knowledge, Attitudes, Practices, and Beliefs (KAPB) are conducted among the different targets groups our awareness programs focus on. Our goal is to empower individuals, communities and health care providers worth accurate and well tailored information ,therefore ultimately reducing cancer incidence and mortality in Zimbabwe.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

As an organization pioneered but health professionals in the cancer care continuum in Zimbabwe, we recognize the critical role health workers play in delivering quality cancer care. To enhance their skills and knowledge, we provide continuous professional development opportunities. Through workshops, conferences, webinars, training sessions, and capacity-building programs, we empower health workers to stay updated on best practices, latest research, and innovative treatments. By investing in their growth, we ultimately improve patient outcomes, ensuring that Zimbabweans receive comprehensive, and high-quality cancer care.

Mentorship Programme

Our Mentorship Initiative aims to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for students in the disciplines of radiation therapy, medical physics and oncology nursing to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence in the cancer care continuum. By establishing a network of professionals and peers, students will be better equipped to advance their careers and contribute to the fight against cancer.

Academic Research

We are committed to advancing cancer research and education. Our organization promotes academic research to better understand the complexities of cancer, identify effective interventions, and inform evidence-based policies and practice in the country. Clinicians and scholars should publish their findings in reputable journals, contributing to the global body of cancer research. By bridging the gap between research and practice, we aim to improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes in Zimbabwe.

Lets all unite in the fight against cancer and support those affected by this devastating disease.
